Program Description

A 5-day Training Program to provide participants with the basic concepts and fundamental principles of the interconnection of telecommunications networks covering commercial, administrative, operational and legal/regulatory aspects.


Overall Objectives
  • Equip participants with the basic knowledge to understand, plan and manage interconnections
  • Provide a practical understanding of the key components of interconnection: costing, billing, testing, unbundling, etc.
  • Provide the knowledge to develop a Reference Interconnection Offer and interconnection agreements
  • Highlight the different issues and challenges operators and service provider face with fixed line, mobile and IP interconnection
